We were headed for Bridport where Sally and I would stay with my mum and Mike, Jan, Lee and Johno would head to the beach and the council van park. This park extends about 1.5km along the Bridport foreshore and has some excellent sites. We crossed the Batman Bridge situated about half way done the Tamar River but we only made it as far as Pipers River where we deviated to take in our first winery for the day, The Bay of Fires.
